"There, but for the grace of God, go I", a phrase attributed to John Baradford, which is apparently apocryphal.

Whatever its origin, I thought it appropriate to this little tableau - the broken seat, observed by the one still whole, contemplating what could, perhaps, lie in its future.

The image actually resulted from a foggy morning today, me being a sucker for a foggy picture ... I could have maybe left the image a bit darker, though I may have lost the detail in the broken seat. I purposely left the white balance quite "cool" to try and convey the chill of both the day, and the bleakness of the seat's fate.

Anyway, enough talk and analysis from me. It is what it is
